SIGMA CLUB UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN, GETS A NEW CHIEF

Sigma club University of Ibadan, a social and philanthropic Association founded 1950 which makes it the oldest in the sub sahara Africa. The club include the University alumni and honorary sigmite.

Activities of the club include, luncheon,Essay competition,public lecture, charity,ssong splash,  musical carnival,  sigma general and financial meeting. The general meeting is very important as it notify it members of the end of a sigma calendar. In this meeting,  the executives give account of their stewardship and award will be given out to those who deserves it. At the financial meeting new executives are inaugurated while the old one of the just concluded year will be dissolved.

The financial meeting held on Saturday at Ransom- Kuti hall senior common room(SCR) marks the end of 2015/2016 sigma year. Several members were awarded for their commitment, loyalty, integrity, discipline and leadership skills.

In addition to this some members received award for most admired Sigmite which went to the new Sigma chief and Mr Agbaohwo Marvellous of Civil Engineering Department.
