Nigeria Judicial Council (NJC) has reportedly dismissed Justice Mohammed
Yunusa for granting an order stopping the Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission (EFCC) from probing Stella Oduah.
It would be recalled that the Senator Stella Oduah, representing Anambra
North Senatorial District, has said she would take up legal action
against an online media for exposing some of her "deals".
Madam Oduah, in a statement by Francisca Onyeisi, her head of
communications, said a planned court action has become necessary
following SR's "malicious allegations" against her.
In its recent report, the online media alleged that the former minister
carried out some fraudulent oil deals during her tenure as the minister
of aviation in Nigeria.
While EFCC was doing it's job to investigate her, the dismissed judge
granted Stella Oduah an injunction to shield her from investigation.
Good thing is, the NJC is ready to restore sanity in the judiciary.
